Job Overview

Are you a Service Manager looking for a new exciting role in a growing and expanding business? We are looking for a Service Manager to join team in Maltby.

Hours: Monday to Friday – 8am – 5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that suppliers/internal workshops operate in line with our safe systems of work, and all legislative and H&S processes are followed.
  • Ensure all customer KPI are delivered.
  • Manage all KPIs, costs, productivity and compliance measures in line with targets.
  • Plan and deploy sufficient resources to ensure the business delivers contractual obligations & internal financial KPI
  • Setting the standards of compliance, behaviours and work ethics that place the customer at the heart of everything we do.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Utilise your technical experience & qualifications in order to reduce cost and maximise revenue streams.
  • Drive operational excellence against Company standards reducing operating cost, improving efficiencies, identifying, developing and sharing best practice across the network.
  • Create and implement plans to drive improved engagement with your team & network.

What you’ve got

  • Refrigeration/ HGV background preferred but not essential
  • Experience of workshop management
  • Ability to motivate and coach a team identifying areas for improvement
  • Experience of delivering high levels of quality and service to customers inc KPI’s.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Sound knowledge of H&S fundamentals in workshops and transport/veh compliance legislation.
  • Analytical, problem solver and results driven.
  • Ability to travel to other sites within the UK as needed.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
