Trusted certifications for essential roles
Every course is designed around what employers actually need: compliance that stands up to audit, practical skills that translate on day one, and confidence that your team can do the job – safely and correctly.
This isn’t theory-heavy or box-ticking. It’s skills-focused, standards-driven training that keeps your team safe and your business running smoothly.

Training Where It Works for You
Our primary training centre is in Sherburn, ideally located to serve Leeds, York, Selby, Wakefield, and beyond. But we know one size doesn’t fit all.
That’s why we offer national training coverage from any of our sites across England, Scotland, and Wales. And if your own facilities meet the requirements, we can even come to you.
We’re flexible, mobile, and set up to deliver training wherever it works best for your business.

Carl
I’ve been with Pullman for over 18 years, through many changes and developments. I started as a 4-on, 4-off technician and worked as a mentor for apprentices before stepping into my first training role as a RTITB-accredited Forklift Truck Instructor around 12 years ago.
Since then, I’ve expanded my qualifications to cover Reach Truck, Pallet Truck, Telehandler, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheel, Roadside Breakdown, Driving Assessor, and Face Fit Testing. I became a First Aid Instructor, and more recently, an Instructor Trainer for First Aid as part of our PADI-accredited training centre status.
With the IMI, I’ve qualified as an IRTEC LCV and Trailer Assessor, as well as gaining EV Levels 1–3 certification. We are now proud to be an official IMI Centre.
Most recently, I’ve also become a RTITB NRI CPC Instructor.
From technician to Training Manager, my journey has been built on a willingness to learn and grow and if you’re driven and curious, this could be your path too.

I’ve been with Pullman since August 2003 – coming up on 22 years now. I originally joined to cover maternity leave in the Admin team, before moving into training on our bespoke computer systems around 2010.
In preparation for the launch of Pullman Academy, the business supported me in gaining my Award in Education and Training in February 2025, along with completing Train the Trainer qualifications for both First Aid and Fire Marshal courses.
I’ve also completed several internal courses, including Abrasive Wheel, First Aid, and Roadside Breakdown training.
